    Settings

The legacy .ppt format needs LibreOffice on the server. Without it, re-save your deck as .pptx first.

How to convert powerpoint to pdf

    1. Drop your deck

Add one .pptx file or several.

    2. Pick the page size

Keep the deck's own 16:9 or 4:3 shape, or force A4 for printing.

    3. Convert

Each slide becomes its own PDF page.

    4. Download

Save the PDF, or all of them as one ZIP.

    Questions

Do animations and transitions carry over?

No — a PDF is a static document, so each slide is captured in its final state. PowerPoint's own PDF export behaves the same way.

    What about charts and SmartArt?

With LibreOffice installed they render properly. On the pure-PHP path, text and pictures come across but charts and SmartArt are skipped — copy them into the slide as a picture first if you need them.

Can I get the speaker notes?

Yes. Tick "Include speaker notes" and each slide is followed by a page containing its notes.

Why is my deck's background missing?

Theme backgrounds and master-slide graphics only come through on the LibreOffice path. The pure-PHP fallback focuses on the content of each slide.
